Motels, hotels, or resort accommodations are "optional upgrades" some people might choose. Anyone who prefers "indoors", instead of "outdoors" can travel with us.
At night, we provide a complimentary "taxi" to optional hotels.
AT ADVENTURE AVENUE
WE LET THE PEOPLE "VOTE"
A standard "AA Ticket" provides all the primary transportation in our RV(s), as well as all the campground accommodations, with showers --- for both large and small groups.
However, it's the actual people "in the club" who decide everything else.
Where To Go? When To Go? What To Do?
Online surveys allow our club members have a voice in all decision making.
You can "vote" for locations. You can "vote" for dates.
You can "vote" for stops along the way.
Majority rules --- in all decisions. That's what makes it "a club".
People "vote".
Although different Options are listed on the schedule, only the camping trip(s)
with the most "votes" occur.
Obviously, not everybody goes camping every single weekend. Adventure Avenue requires a minimum of (4) people in agreement about the same location, at the same time - each weekend. Why? Because people generally want to go camping with "a big group" of people. If any camping trip gets "cancelled", the same location is simply re-scheduled another time. Concerning the schedule, everybody's "vote" is equal to everybody else's "vote".
Adventure Avenue serves as "club headquarters". We compare and contrast all the requests being submitted by our various club members, each weekend. Critical decisions about locations, types of campgrounds, and things to do, are determined by "vote".
We maintain a membership database with 600+ people throughout California. And growing.
Club members register for camping trips at different times, for different places. You might see the same people on one camping trip. Or, entirely different people on the next trip.
Part of "the big adventure" is to meet new people and see new things.
