OUT OF STATE CAMPING TRIPS
Adventure Avenue's "out of state" camping trips are entirely different than our weekend schedules around
the State of California. These are more "extended" 7-10 day, camping trips, with interesting stops on the way.
Why take an airplane, when you can stop and smell the roses, along the backroads of the American west?
We take our own sweet time.
Explore ghost towns along the drive.
Stop at roadside attractions.
Take in expansive views at
The Grand Canyon.
Explore the Rocky Mountains.
Cross the border to Mexico.
Explore the vast desert in Utah.
Camp out --- across the west.
Enjoy fresh air in the countryside.
Eat at funky, roadside cafes.
Relax in a hot tub.
Swim in the pool.
Swap stories --- around the campfire.
Get on "the waiting list" for any of our camping trips in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and more.

Travel with a big group of people.

ROAD TRIPPIN'
IT'S WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT
See the world in a different way. On the open road, one day at a time.
Because of long distances, we divide the entire week into a series of different camping trips --- along the route. We drive part of the way there, then we go campin' out. We drive the next stretch of road. We go campin' out. Each stretch of road is a unique destination, in itself. Out of state camping trips are much bigger road trippin' adventures. With, more places to explore.
We also require more people whenever camping trips cross the state line.
Certain destinations are often considered "once in a lifetime" events.
Such as The Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Mexico, The Alamo, etc.
There are many other places of interest around the Western U.S. that most Californian's can't easily get to. So, we take as many people as possible.
A big road trippin' experience everyone will remember for years to come.
Minimum of (10) people required for all camping trips across the state line.
Anyone can register as "an individual passenger"
You will always meet new people and make new acquaintances with other citizens around California. Roll call is taken every time the van stops.
People watch out for each other over long distances.
HOW TO REGISTER
"OUT OF STATE" CAMPING TRIPS
Not, your average week.
Do something completely different.
Our "out of state" camping trips are not published on the regular schedule, according to any specific date.
A waiting period is necessary.
First, you have to pick a location.
That is always Step 1.
Register for "out of state" trips using the online surveys, per location.
People who register for camping trips outside the State of California are then placed on "the waiting list."
No cash deposits are ever required to make reservations, as long as the general public doesn't "abuse it", with people constantly dropping out at the last minute every time someone registers on the schedule for camping trips.
Please sign up "on your honor".
After you register for any destination, we keep you "in the loop". Everyone receives periodic updates about the status of each camping trip.

Adventure Avenue builds up a big, group of people, until (10) campers have confirmed with us, separately. After (10) people have confirmed, we contact everybody who previously registered on "the waiting list".
Then, everybody votes pertaining to the specific travel dates (7-10 days) that most people prefer, including stops along the way, and how many days people want to spend on the road. Everyone is given "an equal vote".
Majority rules.
SMALL, MEDIUM OR LARGE???
CAMPING TRIPS "TO GO"
We know sometimes nobody wants to run around, planning a big vacation.
That's why we deliver camping trips "to go". Just like ordering a pizza.
AA Tickets generally average of $49/per day X total number of days.
The total cost of the entire camping trip is directly proportional
to exactly how many days people want to spend, on the road.
The daily rate covers all ongoing travelling expenses, vehicle maintenance, driver(s), insurance, lots of gas, campground fees, ice, firewood. Parking. Toll roads.
The AA Ticket is considered "the general camp fund".
We get you there and back. With a big, group of people. And, campgrounds.
You are never outnumbered by people who already know each other.
Most people register with us as "individuals" who are travelling alone.
Personal expenses "on your own".
Food "on your own".
Adventure Avenue assembles the entire group of people together.
We do "the grunt work". We put together a big, huge group of people who all want to go to the exact same place. All you have to do is pack your suitcase, tent and a sleeping bag. Adventure Avenue "works out" all the details.
"No hassles" for our club members about the nuts and bolts of getting there.
And, no inconveniences if everyone else around you wants to stay home.
You're coming with us --- not them. And, we've got a big van full of people.
At Adventure Avenue, all you have to do is get in the van and "go"
