Weird Al
August 14
Mountain Winery
Saratoga, CA
2 Days + 1 Night August 13 - 14
Combined with same group going to previous day's Heart concert. Nobody is required to go to both concerts. The van will also take people around for other activities, the same trip.
Madonna
October 6 & 7
San Jose, CA
2 Days + 1 Night
Adventure Avenue will remain in town the entire duration of the Madonna tour. Both days. People can go to either show. However, we recommend that everybody gets tickets together on October 6 -- then an overnight camping trip afterwards. For people who "straggle in" with random tickets for October 7, we will accommodate both shows, but we recommend most people purchase tickets for October 6.
The van will also take people around for other activities, during the same trip.
GENERAL INFORMATION
ABOUT ROCK CONCERTS @ AA
Rock concerts on the "outskirts" of the bay area are typically scheduled @ $35 - 45 Per Day
Note: We do not typically schedule any kind of "road trip" to rock concerts at Oakland Collesium, Candlestick Park, Shoreline or any other centralized bay area venue, because we figure that most people don't have too much trouble getting there ---- without Adventure Avenue.
We try to be more useful to the general community. AA supports a variety of rock concerts a little further away from the city. And, we only schedule concerts that aren't scheduled anywhere else.
Concerts -----in more remote locations. That are not easily accessible via BART.
Especially, when it's a harder concert for millions of people in the city to get to.
SIGNING UP
People can "sign up" as individual passengers, but any concert event requires a minimum of 4 random citizens in the bay area to register separately with AA for the same concert. We take groups ranging from 4 - 12 people to all kinds of events ---- depending on the demand.
1 Day or 2 Days Depending on "the vote" between all the people who are going.
Rock Concerts further away might be slightly higher, based on total mileage from San Francisco.
AA provides transportation and overnight campgrounds after the show (on 2 Day trips only).
People are required to purchase their own ticket separately.
Different people can choose their own price range with Ticketmaster. Personal Choice.
A Shared Experience. Separate seating depending on your own ticket @ the arena.
After the show -----everybody can "ooh and ahhh" together ------over dinner.
Our concert "road trips", leaving from either BART, SFO or Oakland Airport, and are provided as a convenience to groups of people without their own transportation to the show, or other people that just want to go to a big, huge outrageous rock concert with "somebody else".
