WHY SOME CAMPING TRIPS GET CANCELLED
Adventure Avenue is an informal, outdoor recreational "club".
Not a major airport. Club members volunteer to be part of it.
However, everyone is on a different schedule. Different times. Different places.
We cannot predict which camping trips are guaranteed, until the week before the trip.
Anyone can register as "an individual camper". Or, bring a friend(s).
But, a minimum of (4+) people is required for all camping trips.
We schedule different kinds of campgrounds
on most weekends, per demand for them.
Please be aware that Adventure Avenue trips are subject to "cancellation". The most common reason is that less than the required minimum of (4+) people ended up making "a final confirmation" during the week prior to the camping trip. People generally want larger groups of people to go camping with. As "a club" we establish a minimum number as our standard policy.
More people. More fun.
As such, we don't operate on weekends which results in less than (4+) different people. As a year-round club member, be prepared for occasional "re-scheduling" of some camping trips at Adventure Avenue.
For "out of state" camping trips, larger groups are usually required --- due to distance travelled.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A TRIP IS "CANCELLED"
We simply "re-schedule" camping trips whenever the minimum number of people has not been met. Campgrounds are offered "on rotations". Year-round. For example, if a camping trip is cancelled on any particular weekend, the same camping trip will be offered again, on a different weekend.
We also maintain a "no pressure" reservation system. This causes the schedule to fluctuate.
Our club members are free to change their plans, as we require no cash deposits in order to hold any kind of seat reservation. At the same time, if the group of campers is less than (4+) people,
Adventure Avenue doesn't operate, because there are not enough people.
It works both ways in "the club"
